Setup is quick thanks to the trigger lock ridge poles. Like all Darche ridge pole swags, it’s fully freestanding. Big dual entry doors on either side let you take in the views, and the fine mesh windows keep the air flowing while locking out mozzies.

The Dirty Dee is built tough: 420gsm ripstop polycotton canvas with an 800mm waterhead rating, plus internal seam sealing and a reinforced 600gsm welded PVC bucket floor that shrugs off wet conditions. Inside, you’ve got a premium 70mm high-density foam mattress with a removable cover, so you’ll actually sleep well after a long day out.

Pack-up is just as easy. Drop the poles, roll it all up (mattress included), cinch it down with the built-in compression straps, and stash it in the heavy-duty canvas swag bag. Toss it in the back or strap it on the roof rack, and you’re moving again.

We get asked a lot about the difference between the Dirty Dee and the Dusk to Dawn swags. Both use the same quality build, same mattress, and same sleeping space. The difference is in design: the Dusk to Dawn is a dome with larger side access, while the Dirty Dee gives you more windows and roll-up end flaps.
